The Daily Telegraph reports
Sonia Kruger and David Campbell are backing Kerri-Anne Kennerley -- the woman they have replaced on Channel 9 -- to win this year's Dancing with the Stars.
The duo, who begin their new show Mornings today, said Kennerley -- a rumoured contestant on this year's Channel 7 reality show -- had what it took to take the title.
Kruger, who left her DWTS co-host role to take over Mornings said it was "weird" that she might be doing a "kind of job swap" with the morning TV doyenne.
"I think she would have an absolute blast doing the show and I'll be watching because she's a legend. It's totally her world."
Campbell said: " I think it would be easier to take over (Kennerley's) show than to be on Dancing with the Stars this year if she's on it.
"She's a showgirl, she's so charismatic, she's an institution. People love her, she's a perfect candidate."
Kruger, who will also host Big Brother, said she was feeling more comfortable at Nine after her "network-ectomy" and said she wanted to stretch herself.
" I didn't want to look back in a couple of years taking the safe option and think, 'I wonder what would have happened'," she said.
"I thought, 'Well, what are you afraid of? What's the worst thing that could happen?' Well, you get sacked -- well, that's happened before!"
