Olivia Newton-John opened the AACTA Awards 2012 show, formerly known as the AFI Awards, by performing a medley of songs, Daydream Believer and Weightless, from the soundtrack of her new movie, A Few Best Men.
Surrounded by top notch dancers from Brent Street Studios, Olivia blew the lid off the Sydney Opera House with a solid performance choreographed by So You Think You Can Dance’s Jason Gilkison.
The AACTA Awards celebrate the achievements of Australian artists in both film and television. The show took place on Tuesday 31 January and was broadcast by Channel Nine.
