She may be a four-time Grammy Award-winning artist who has dated a string of high-profile hunks (Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer spring to mind) but Taylor Swift is not too cool to hang out with her old man.
The 22-year-old Nashville sweetheart has brought her father Scott Down Under while she tours her Speak Now concert dates, with Australia just one of the 17 countries she will eventually visit with the largely sold-out theatrical show.
The pair were spotted out sightseeing together on Thursday night, acquainting themselves with Sydney from a boat cruising around the Harbour.
Swift - who Confidential was surprised to see in Harpers Bazaar this month wearing her one-time microphone stealer Kanye West - brought down the Allphones Arena house last night, playing five different guitars, two banjos, the piano and a ukele.
The country music cutie is known for writing "13" on her hand before each show because it's her lucky number.
"I was born on the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No.1 song had a 13-second intro and every time I've won an award I've been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter," she has previously said.
