J.Mo & Elle, The Sunday Telegraph, report
After a month it'd probably prefer to forget, Sydney casino The Star will fly in some big celebrities to launch its new nightclub, Marquee.
Since a save-the-date lobbed in Insider's email inbox this month, we've been digging around for names of potential VIP guests expected at the party on March 30.
And we can confirm Dutch producer and DJ Afrojack - real name Nick van de Wall - is the first big name to sign on as a performer.
Whispers suggest Afrojack could be flying in with girlfriend Paris Hilton.
The heiress fuelled the rumours yesterday when she posted this message on Twitter: "Congrats @NoahTepperberg on@MarqueeSydney! @DJAfrojack is gonna kill it at the opening party down there! I love #Australia!"
In light of recent negative press surrounding the casino over the surprise departure of former boss Sid Vaikunta, The Star will no doubt be banking on a successful launch.
Marquee is a joint venture with Tao Group, which is responsible for America's biggest nightclubs, including Tao in Las Vegas and New York, and Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub in Las Vegas.
If Marquee's Vegas opening is anything to go by - it attracted names like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow - we're in for a huge party.
