It seems the events of the past couple of weeks have finally caught up with Shane Warne with the spin king and his lady love Liz Hurley looking a little, er, worse for wear during Sunday night's Aussie Millions Poker Championship fundraiser at Crown Casino.
The night before copping the second fine of the Big Bash season with the Melbourne Stars, Warne was tirelessly pounding the poker table in an effort to raise funds for The Shane Warne Foundation - a task that looked to take its toll on both he and Hurley, who appeared to nod off momentarily.
Hey, poker's not for everyone.
Or perhaps it was the culmination of a headline- grabbing fortnight, during which Hurley swore at a popular sports reporter in Perth last week. Earlier, Warne experienced some disciplinary fallout of his own after his now-famous blast at Marlon Samuels - a suspension and fine that prompted Hurley to accuse Big Bash broadcaster Fox Sports of failing to turn his on-field microphone off.
If Confidential didn't know
better we'd swear the couple are road-testing their own reality television
show.
