The Daily Telegraph reports
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' main men Anthony
Kiedis and Flea were keeping their cool before revving up the Big Day Out crowd
today.
But they may get a frosty reception from some bands on the bill for
their upstaging antics in the afternoon, insisting on holding a press
conference at 3pm at the Park Hyatt.
Their record label has offered to bus the media covering the festival to
the city as marquee bands including Grinspoon, Against Me! and Gary Clark Jr
are playing their sets.
When music industry types protested about the timing and location of the
press conference, the band's record label insisted it was the only time they
could do it.
It appears they may have been available yesterday afternoon.
