Here’s another one for the ever-expanding file of weird celebrity baby names.
Aussie actor Alex O'Loughlin has revealed the name he and girlfriend Malia Jones have bestowed on their newborn son and it's certainly, er, different.
O'Loughlin's rep has confirmed to People magazine in the US that the Hawaii Five-O star has named the bub Lion, three weeks after the new addition arrived into the world.
O'Loughlin, 36, is father to 15-year-old son Saxon, while Jones, 35, is mother to three-year-old son Spike, each from previous relationships.
The actor and his surfer/model partner Jones first went public with their relationship in Sydney last November, with Confidential breaking the news of the union at the GQ Man of the Year Awards at the Sydney Opera House.
"I have fallen for a beautiful Hawaiian woman," O'Loughlin told Confidential at the time.
"I'm a very lucky guy and very happy at the moment. She's amazing."
The pair revealed they met through a mutual friend in Honolulu, where O'Loughlin is based for several months of the year while shooting Hawaii Five-O.
