The Daily Telegraph reports
She hasn't been seen out publicly with her famous mum Nicole Kidman since 2007, but Isabella Cruise insists the pair is still close.
The 19-year-old adopted daughter of Kidman and ex-husband Tom Cruise spoke out about her relationship with her mum in a world exclusive interview with New Idea magazine.
"I love mum. She's my mum. She's great. I see her sometimes and I speak to her," the aspiring young artist said.
Isabella denied rumours of a rift within the family, despite reports that she and Kidman had drifted apart.
"We're a very close family. I love all of our family," she added.
Isabella's latest claims contrast to comments Kidman made back in 2007 about her daughter and son Conner, now 17, whom she also adopted with Cruise.
"My kids don't call me mummy, they don't even call me mum. They call me Nicole, which I hate and I tell them off for it," she told GMTV.
When Tom and Nicole famously divorced back in 2001, the then eight-year-old Isabella opted to continue living with her father in Beverly Hills.
Both children are followers of Scientology, telling the magazine: "We are very proud to be Scientologists."
The Oscar-winner, 44, currently lives in Nashville with husband Keith Urban and their two young daughters, Sunday and Faith.
