The Daily Telegraph reports
The long-awaited new chat show hosted by
Kerri-Anne Kennerley is, well, still a long way away.
The TV identity, who remains signed to Seven following her Dancing
With The Stars stint, said the program styled similarly to Nine's Mornings
had hit a hurdle.
"It's on the backburner at the moment," she said. "I
don't really know what's happening with it unfortunately, we'll just have to
see."
KAK - who was dumped from Mornings and replaced with Sonia Kruger -
confirmed she was approached to do new reality diving competition Celebrity
Splash. But she gave a vehement "no thanks".
"I was worried I might die," Kennerley said.
"It's a dangerous thing to do at my age, I think. Dancing is
dancing, but this is serious sport we're talking about. I remember being asked
to do that iceskating show Dancing On Ice when it was on and I said no
to that too for the same reason. You could die from a concussion on ice. Not
for me."
Seven's Celebrity Splash will feature celebs learning to do
high-platform dives with professional coaches. Rachael Finch is rumoured to be
among those taking part.
