He has bagged a spot on one of the most-watched programs of the year in the US and Timomatic says his upcoming performance in the Miss Universe telecast is all business and no pleasure.
Which means long-time girlfriend Talia Fowler can rest easy.
"She knows I'm going just there to work," Timo (aka Tim Omaji) said yesterday.
"I'm coming straight back to her. It's our two-year anniversary coming up so there's nothing to worry about. I'm just excited about the opportunity to perform."
It's understood the Aussie dancer turned chart-topper was singled out by NBC executives after they heard his hit Set It Off.
And the former So You Think You Can Dance contestant was invited to perform in the prime timeslot - just before the five finalists will be announced.
"The final five are all going to walk out to my song," he told Confidential from the US yesterday. "The global exposure will be amazing. My goal for a long time has been to do as much work in the US as I can, so my objective after this will be to keep that momentum going."
The live broadcast of
the Donald Trump-owned beauty pageant is set to air tomorrow and, while ratings
figures have dwindled over the years (they hit an all-time low of six million
in 2010), the pageant has served as a platform for the likes of Lady Gaga and
Kelly Rowland.
