Aussie actress Rebel Wilson has hit out at fat-shamers on Twitter after critics bagged her fuller figured body.

Wilson is a big deal in the US thanks to roles in films including Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect.

But it is her irreverent style of comedy on new primetime ABC show Super Fun Night that is causing the most attention.

Detractors have criticised Wilson, 27, for glorifying what they say is an unhealthy body and cliched jokes about being overweight.

"I haven't received any offers in the US to lose weight ... and even if I did, right now I'm way too focused on doing Super Fun Night x," the Australian comedian wrote on Twitter yesterday.

"I never wanna be too unhealthy though, so even though I like desserts (clearly), I still try to exercise e.g walk to shop to get ice-cream. oh yeah I do mermaid dancing once a month at least x that counts as cardio x Note to self: do not eat dinner quickly and then put in Spanks x"

It’s been a rough week for Rebel Wilson.

Even before its premiere, US television critics have panned the pilot for her new comedy, Super Fun Night, saying it falls "wide of the mark" and is "rarely outright funny."

"Super fright night is more like it. This show is so painful and cringe-inducing that it's scary," one critic even wrote.

But in true Rebel form, the Aussie actress has bounced back from the criticism, insisting she has a licence to doll out 'fat jokes'.

"As long as I look like this I'm going to make fat jokes," she told Hunger magazine.

"All comedians have to use their physicality, so I use my size."

Earlier this year the 27-year-old was called out by Forbes magazine who accused her of overusing "fat women can be funny" jokes while hosting the MTV Movie Awards.

But despite receiving negative comments about her figure, the Pitch Perfect star hopes her look will inspire larger women to feel comfortable in their own skin.

"Before, it was all glamorous types like Kate Hudson who served as, like, the female equivalent of a 'straight man'. Now it's turning, and it's really good," she said.

Wilson is gearing up to debut Super Fun Night on October 2, in which she plays a socially inept single woman who sets aside Friday nights to stay at home and hang with her pyjama-clad besties.

She argues that she wanted her character Kimmie to wear unflattering clothing.

"In the pilot, I was deliberately wearing a very tight white dress with horrible crisscross black stripes that is way too short, and I'm holding a clutch purse that is so tiny that it accentuates my size," she told vulture.com.

"The women from wardrobe are lovely, but they don't get that I want to dress as Kimmie, and Kimmie does not have the best taste. The girls in the show are at the bottom of the social pole, and it's hard to communicate that to the network. It's important they understand that comedy is not about looking good."

Wilson had her breakthrough role in 2011 comedy Bridesmaids playing the sister of British comedian Matt Lucas. Since then she has gone on to star in other comedies such as Pitch Perfect, in which her character was referred to as 'Fat Amy'.

A near-death experience was what made Rebel Wilson pursue a career as an actress.

The in-demand comic said an incident which caused her to hallucinate that she was an award-winning actress was the catalyst behind her pursuing a career on the big screen.

"I was a youth ambassador for Australia and got to travel to rural Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique, but while I was there I contracted malaria,'' she told Glamour magazine.

"They put me in intensive care, gave me a huge concoction of drugs and I started hallucinating that I was an actress at the Academy Awards and won.

"I got up and made an acceptance rap and the crowds loved it. It was so vivid and real, when I recovered I knew I had to get back to Australia and start acting training.

"I did my law degree by day and studied acting at night, but people still thought my brain had been destroyed by malaria and that I was nuts!''

Victoria Beckham may have bagged the Woman of the Decade gong, but the night belonged to Rebel Wilson.

The Aussie actress and all-round funny girl won the Film Actress category at the Glamour UK Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday and scored her first magazine cover in the process.

Clad in a textured Marina Rinaldi frock and Christian Louboutin heels, Wilson mentioned "our Kylie" in her acceptance speech before posing with Ms Minogue, who promptly tweeted the snap with the hashtag #bogans4eva.

"Thank you so much Kylie, I just feel so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky," Wilson said.

"I'd like to thank the UK for having excellent taste, but not in desserts. When a girl gets served spotted dick, she has certain expectations," she said.

The night is a high point on the red carpet season, with international celebrities dressed to the max. This year, texture was a key theme, with Rita Ora opting for a layered Marchesa gown while Kylie wore a ruffled coral Moschino number.

Model Naomi Campbell and Chanel Iman knew that gold embroidery would fit right in with the glamorous dress code, wearing Alexander McQueen and Julien Macdonald respectively.

Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, stole the show as usual - she famously started the underwear as pants trend at the event in 2007 - by turning up with son Brooklyn on her arm. She sported wide-legged Margiela pants and a top.

 

Pitch Perfect sequel confirmed for 2015

Musical comedy Pitch Perfect, which starred Aussie Rebel Wilson, is not ready to retire its vocal cords.

Universal Studios has announced a sequel to the hit movie, and it's assumed Wilson, who starred in the original, will also appear in the follow-up.

The original Glee-esque flick starred Wilson as Fat Amy, whose one-liners and sharp wit shone a gleaming light on the Sydney-born actress.

Wilson recently performed onstage with her Pitch Perfect castmates at the MTV Awards on April 14, which she also hosted.

On the night, the Aussie star revealed she hoped for a follow-up to the feel-good hit. And it seems her dreams have come true, with Universal announcing on Wednesday that a sequel will be released in 2015.

Screenwriter Kay Cannon will return to pen the follow-up, but the cast for the sequel has not yet been confirmed.

However, it will be a surprise if Wilson, who led the laughs the first time around, does not resurrect her role.

Pitch Perfect garnered $US112 million ($A109 million) around the world when it was released in 2012, a shocking figure considering its tame $US17 million ($A16.56 million) budget.

Rebel Wilson has kicked off the MTV Movie Awards, hitting the stage in a skin-tight leather catsuit. But not everyone in the audience seemed stoked with her opening performance.

The Aussie actress, who is hosting the show this year, launched into a raunchy mash-up of Eminem's Lose Yourself, Macklemore's Thrift Shop and Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire.

In typical Rebel form, she followed with a few cheeky one-liners: " A special shout-out to Lil' Kim, hopefully he doesn't see me up on stage being all hot and prematurely fire his missile."

She also promised some new awards this year: Best Shirtless, Best Ginger and Best Beard, which could go to "Lena Dunham's vagina, because it's seen a lot of faces."

There are plenty of blank faces in the audience and it seems not everyone is totally thrilled with the Aussie's dry sense of humour.

Rebel returns to the stage later in the evening and, for a minute we think she's opted for a more demure outfit change. That is, until an "accidental" dress malfunction reveals one-too-many nipples. This gag receives a roar of laughter from the crowd. Phew.

Bradley Cooper is the first award winner, grabbing the Golden Popcorn award for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook.

Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson won the Best WTF Moment award for their scenes in Django Unchained.

"This is awesome,'' Jackson said. "This is a fan award. if it wasn't for all of you, we wouldn't have this golden popcorn."

Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana present the award for Best Fight, which goes to Marvel's The Avengers for the epic battle between Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston.

Accepting the MTV Trailblazer award was Emma Watson, who was introduced by Eddie Redmayne and Logan Lerman.

Paying tribute to her bad hair in the Harry Potter series, Watson also spoke about being teased "mercilessly", urging the crowd to be persistent: "If you truly put your heart into what you believe in, it makes you vulnerable, but it means amazing things can and will happen."

Steve Carrell and Amanda Seyfried take the stage to present the award for Best Kiss. The winner is Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper for Silver Linings Playbook.

Cooper takes the stage solo, apologising that Lawrence couldn't be there but says "she was great to kiss."

Snoop Dogg and Ke$ha take the stage with what appears to be a joint and introduce the first presenters for the night, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Peter Dinklage presents Will Ferrell with the Comedic Genius Award. Ferrell arrives onstage sporting a serious moustache and a money-patterned suit.

"Here's the deal. I'm just a simple guy from Burbank, California. I had two basic dreams", he says.

"First, to one day hopefully be able to make people laugh... The other dream is to wake up every day and be able to dress myself exactly like Dennis Rodman."

While her toy koala didn't seem to be an audience winner, Rebel takes out the award for Best Breakthrough Performance for her role in Pitch Perfect.

"Do you want to give me an Australian kiss now? It's like a French kiss but down under", Wilson cheekily asks Zac Efron on stage.

Efron, Seth Rogan and Danny McBride present the award for Best Shirtless Performance to... Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner, of course.

Lautner comes out wearing a fake beer belly, joking: "I'll be honest with you. I turned 21 recently. And I've been eating and drinking."

After an interesting Bollywood-themed performance from Selena Gomez of her new single Come and Get it, child star Quvenzhané Wallis and Chloe Grace-Moreta present the award for Best Villain to Tom Hiddleston for Marvel's The Avengers.

Next up, actress Kerry Washington hits the stage to introduce Jamie Foxx, who receives the Generation Award.

The Django Unchained star thanks his family, fellow actors and directors who he has worked with on this "wild ride".

"Anytime someone tells you you can't do something, make sure you do it."

The next award, Best Musical Moment, goes to Pitch Perfect (yep, Rebel again), starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean and Hana Mae Lee.

Martin Freeman's character in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo Baggins, took out the award for Best Hero, beating big names Christian Bale, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., and Anne Hathaway in a stacked field.

Brad Pitt took the stage to present the final award for the night, MTV Movie of the Year.

And it goes to...

Marvel's The Avengers.

Rebel Wilson has revealed she is in talks to land a role in The Hunger Games.

The Aussie actor said it would be "awesome" to join Jennifer Lawrence and co. on the latest installment, Catching Fire.

"Um, seriously, I have had a meeting about being in The Hunger Games. Yes," Wilson told Buzzfeed.

"It was one of the people in the capitol. That's all I'll say...Yeah, because there aren't a lot of roles open, because they've all already been cast, but that would be awesome. I'd love to be in The Hunger Games."

The news comes after the Aussie actress declared she thinks Jennifer Lawrence is the sexiest woman in the world.

"I met her at a party and she was super-duper nice. She's really quite tall. Which I found - I don't know if you get that impression when you see her in movies, but she's quite tall. Yeah, and she's just really nice and I love The Hunger Games and I can't wait for the new one to come out."

She’s never made a secret of her cupcake fetish but after failing to fend off the lure of such fatty treats, the well-rounded Rebel Wilson and Jenny Craig have split.

Wilson's ambassadorial role with the weight-loss giant has ended long before she reached her target goal.

The Aussie actor, who pledged in July 2011 to shed 25kg, managed to drop 15kg, but the contract is over. It's unclear which party ended it.

Wilson, who weighed 106kg at her heaviest, initially said being overweight had affected her work. But it turns out the US film industry has no problem with her size, having cast her in big-budget comedies such as Bridesmaids and What To Expect When You're Expecting.

Last year the 29-year-old was forced to stop dieting for her role as a college student named Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect, but vowed to slim down to 80kg by the end of last year.

"At the moment Rebel is based in the States and is concentrating on her acting career. Due to her busy work schedule she is currently not on the JC program," Jenny Craig's Amy Smith said.

"She successfully lost 15 kilos and thanks Jenny Craig for their help and support."

The company's current Australian ambassador Mel B lost 15kg after signing up following the birth of her third child in October 2011 and continues to feature in its marketing campaigns.

Barry Humphries, Ian "Dicko" Dickson and Magda Szubanski have all shed weight as ambassadors for Jenny Craig.

Meanwhile, rival company Weight Watchers last month announced it had signed Mahalia Barnes as its new celebrity face.

Wilson has two films set for release this year - US comedy Pain & Gain starring Mark Wahlberg and Super Fun Night, a TV movie she wrote and produced.

The Ten Network is hoping funny girl Rebel Wilson will revive this week's disappointing ratings figures, having the comedian appear in a swag of their live TV offerings next week.

Rebel is heading home to appear in-studio as a special guest on The Project and later the same night on the Chrissie Swan hosted Can Of Worms.

The Aussie actress, writer and stand-up comedian will entertain viewers with her own brand of controversial and straight-talking conversation.

Following her CoW appearance next Monday, the Bridesmaids actress will front up again on Tuesday, to co-host The Project alongside Carrie Bickmore, Charlie Pickering and Dave Hughes.

"I'm really excited to come back to Australia and appear on Ten next week. I'm not sure which tracksuit to pack... Now that I live in Hollywood I get a lot of free tracksuits. It takes the phrase 'freeloading bogan' to a completely new level" says the 27-year-old.

"I've been talking with an American accent all week for a pilot I've been filming in LA, so it'll be super relaxing for my face to come back to Australia and just be myself for a few days."

Monday night's season debut of Can of Worms was watched by just 351,000 viewers nationally - crushed by rivals on Seven and Nine.

Ten's use of Chrissie Swan's smoking confession while pregnant as their opening topic of conversation - 'have you ever kept a secret from a loved one?' - seemed not to fare well with audiences.

Fearless comedienne Rebel Wilson recently made W magazine's list of best performances thanks to her turn as Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect.

However, the Sydney gal has said that while her career may be flourishing, her family life is not.

"I grew up in Australia with two sisters, Liberty and Anarchy, and a brother named Riot," Wilson said.

"All of my family thinks they are funnier than I am. I say to them, 'When have you done professional comedy? What movies have you been in?' Um, never and none.

"In Australia, I've been in 13 TV shows, and I also did stand-up. I would tell family secrets onstage. And sometimes I would lie: I said that my father was in prison. That didn't go down too well with my actual father."

Aah, understandably.

Next Ice Age to come Down Under

Ice Age 5: Down Under.

"I keep coming back to Australian animals, there are so many fascinating ones. All the weird ones, all the interesting ones, are from Australia."

So says Peter de Seve, the man from whose pencil all of your favourite Ice Age characters - Manny the woolly mammoth, Diego the sabre tooth tiger, Sid the sloth - sprung.

The character designer reckons sending the crew down south for a fifth instalment of the mega-successful animated franchise might be the way to go, after he tried and failed to fit more Aussie-inspired characters into this year's Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.

For a while there, he explains, the leader of the iceberg pirate ship, the nasty orang-utan Captain Gutt, could have been a bear or a wombat.

How do you turn a wombat into an Ice Age character?

"Well, apparently I can't," laughs de Seve, "because I wasn't very successful doing it. I was playing with a giant wombat for Gutt and I thought, 'That would be fun'. But I couldn't make that work.

"Yet I kept coming back to Australian animals, there are so many fascinating ones. But I couldn't have a boat full of Australians, I could only pick one or two, so it was Raz."

A member of Captain Gutt's unruly pirate posse, Raz is a feral-looking kangaroo voiced by Australian funny lady Rebel Wilson.

Though the designer takes a lot of liberties with how close his characters are to animals that actually lived in the ice age, Raz is based in reality.

"There are some pretty complete skeletons of an ancient kangaroo who was really nasty looking," de Seve explains.

"What made it unique was, rather than three or four toes it had just one talon for its feet, this great big claw. And, based on the shape of the skull, it's known that they had these snub, pug noses. So they just look like really nasty, pugnacious kangaroos. How could I skip that?"

Along with Raz and Gutt, Ice Age 4 introduced Sid's elderly sloth grandmother, blubbery elephant seal Flynn and a cute little army of hyraxes.

But after four movies, de Seve's most beloved and infamous creation remains Scrat, a kind of saber-toothed squirrel whose desperate quest for acorns has instigated the events in every Ice Age.

Scrat is a superstar these days, but he had very humble beginnings.

"Just like Ice Age itself," says de Seve, "nobody expected it to be a huge success at all. And nobody, least of all me, expected it of this character - it was like, 'This is one of the things I've got to get out of the way today'.

"I probably would have worked harder on him if I'd known he was going to be the most famous animated character in the world. But it's probably just as well. None of us had any idea we were creating something that audiences would relate to so much.

"Scrat was supposed to be part of a small sequence in the beginning of the first film. He gets crushed at the end of that and he's at the bottom of a great big mammal's foot and that's the end.

"But the audience loved it so much even in the trailer; they thought, 'I wanna see that movie, but I wanna see him in that movie'. So he had to come back."

Has de Seve allowed himself the luxury of believing Scrat may stand the test of time like the Looney Toons characters he so loved growing up? Is this acorn-obsessed critter up there with Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote?

"I don't tend to think in those terms but it wouldn't surprise me if he endured," de Seve says.

"Part of it is that Fox has used him judiciously. They haven't over-saturated the market with him. I haven't seen him selling any peanuts or anything like that ... but it could happen!"

Four scenes were all it took for Australian comic Rebel Wilson to make Hollywood sit up and take notice.

"I remember thinking: Is that enough to get any kind of attention?" says the former Sydneysider of her scene-stealing Bridesmaids cameo.

Not for most struggling wannabes. But Wilson is not most struggling wannabes.

For a start, her plus-size figure marks her apart from the thin starlets that are the dominant species in her adopted city.

When Wilson walked into the offices of super-agency William Morris Endeavor on her second day in California, it was her normalness that got her noticed. "In Los Angeles there are, like, thousands and thousands of super-glamorous people everywhere and I just look like a real person," Wilson says.

"I remember (the people at William Morris) looking at me and they were like, 'we don't have anyone who looks like you on our books'. So I got offered representation immediately."

Wilson makes the most of her physical differences in Pitch Perfect, the fun, smart, Glee-inspired college comedy that co-stars Twilight's Anna Kendrick.

Having lost 15kg in 15 weeks during her time as a Jenny Craig ambassador, the producers asked her not to shed any more weight before filming.

"Well, my character is called Fat Amy so I did have to be fat for it," she says.

The antipodean freshman, who auditions for her university's all-girl a cappella group, has coined the unflattering moniker for herself "so twig bitches like you don't do it behind my back".

Pitch Perfect is a terrific vehicle for Wilson's upfront brand of humour, much of it improvised with Adam DeVine, who plays the leader of the rival a cappella group, and who also has a comedy background.

While Wilson's current "It Girl" status clearly breaks Hollywood's body mass index rules, the constant focus in Australia on her size has sorely underestimated the performer's comedic and business acumen.

The actress credits her background in Australian television - in SBS comedies such as Pizza and Bogan's Pride - as helping her match wits with Saturday Night Live veterans such as Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph, and Little Britain's Matt Lucas, with whom she now shares a house in Los Angeles. "Appearing on Thank God You're Here was terrifying. But if I hadn't had those experiences (in Australia) I wouldn't be as confident to step on set with those superstars of American comedy," she says.

Wilson would like to think of herself as blazing something of a trail in Hollywood.

"Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe, who I love, are clearly dramatic actors. I feel like I am making way for Australians in comedy," she says.

Having got her first break, Wilson capitalised on the opportunity with roles in five movies back to back. She is currently producing a TV pilot called Super Fun Night for ABC.

And the success of Pitch Perfect helped her secure a deal with Universal to write, produce and star in her own feature.

"Writing ... will be my weekend job," she says.

If Wilson's showbusiness career ever takes a downward spiral, the 26-year-old can always fall back on her law degree. But she isn't planning on a career change soon: "I am sure things are going to get crazier and crazier in the US and I'll do lots of good stuff and eventually move into dramatic roles."

Pitch Perfect opens Thursday.

Now that she's had a chance to stretch her vocal chords in the acapella college comedy Pitch Perfect, Rebel Wilson can reveal that she missed out on a role in Glee.

''That was one of my first auditions in the US,'' said the Bridesmaids star in Sydney today.

''But they didn't choose me.''

Success, of course, is the best form of revenge.

Eighteen months down the track, the roles have reversed dramatically.

Wilson's career has had such a meteoric rise, she had to decline an invitation to appear in the current season of the popular TV show.

''They offered me a guest spot but I was just too busy,'' says Wilson, who learnt her musical theatre craft at the Australian Theatre For Young People in Walsh Bay.

She did, however, get the chance to appear opposite Glee's Chris Colfer in the upcoming feature Struck By Lightning.

Wilson recently finished shooting Michael Bay's Pain & Gain, with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, a black comedy based on the true story of two body builders who are currently on death row.

The multi-talented peformer, who also writes and produces, is currently in pre-production for the pilot of a US sitcom - Super Fun Night.

And Universal, for whom the $17 million Pitch Perfect has grossed $62 million in the US alone, has now green-lit her feature film project, which she will write, produce and star in.

Pitch Perfect opens in Australia on December 6.

It’s official: the world is in love with Rebel Wilson.

Having stolen the spotlight at the VMAs at the weekend thanks to that bikini dress, the Sydney law student has gone from little-known TV star to Australia's most in-demand international actress in the space of just 12 months.

And it's all thanks to a tiny part as Kristen Wiig's creepy roommate in 2011 comedy, Bridesmaids.

"Basically, the week Bridesmaids came out, I booked up for the rest of the year," the 28-year-old said.

Among her gigs was joining an A-list ensemble in What To Expect When You're Expecting, voicing a hostile kangaroo in the animated Ice Age: Continental Drift, working with Mark Wahlberg in Michael Bay's crime dramedy Pain And Gain and playing a silky-voiced (if aerobically challenged) competitive singer in next month's musical comedy Pitch Perfect.

She's also about to start taping Super Fun Night, a TV pilot with Conan O'Brien that she is starring in and producing. Yesterday she took over from Chelsea Handler as host of Chelsea Lately. Wilson's latest on-screen work is in Bachelorette, the female answer to The Hangover, which will be released locally on November 29.

"I think I came to America at the right time," she said.

"To have Bridesmaids be the first thing I was cast in and to have that be just such a huge hit, even though I was just part of the ensemble in that. I have just been working non-stop. I'm a writer as well, so I've got lots of things in development and it's crazy.

"It's just been a non-stop whirlwind, and I can't wait for people to see all these movies."

A funny outcome considering the Bogan Pride star only decided she wanted to be an actress and not a lawyer after having a malaria-induced dream about accepting an Academy Award.

A trimmer and healthier Rebel Wilson is continuing to make her mark in the US.

The Australian actor/comedian has three new films set for release this year, with the trailer of her latest flick, Pitch Perfect, crashing last week under the weight of its popularity.

"The site crashed because there were so many people watching - yay," Wilson said from the US.

"It comes out in October. I was an American in the auditions and then we had a month of rehearsals in Louisiana before the start of filming.

''The director heard me talking the way I am now (as an Australian) and he was like, 'Oh my God I want that accent'."

Wilson has The Bachelorette coming out in August, in which she plays a girl from New York and then in Struck by Lightning, due out in December, she plays an American in high school.

While diversifying her roles since Bridesmaids and What to Expect When You're Expecting, Wilson has also lost 15kg with Jenny Craig.

"My goal was 25kg so I'm over halfway there being at 15kg," she said.

"Sometimes for movie roles I've had to maintain my weight while filming a particular movie.

"I had such bad habits before I did Jenny Craig that it takes a while.

"I still love chocolate but I'm just learning I can't have it every day."

Wilson was also buoyed after the pilot she wrote, Super Fun Night, was given a second chance with ABC after being overlooked by CBS.

Australian comedienne Rebel Wilson's star is continuing to rise in Hollywood after the success of her appearance in Bridesmaids.

Collider reports that Wilson has been added to the cast of Transformers director Michael Bay's new film Pain and Gain.

Based on a true story, it follows a pair of bodybuilders in Florida who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong.

Hollywood A-Listers Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson are playing the two bodybuilders. Ed Harris also stars.

Wilson will be playing Ramona Eldridge, a woman who finds herself in prison for her participation in the scheme.

It's just the latest in a long line of increasingly high profile roles for Wilson, who caught the eye of casting directors after her scene-stealing turn in Bridesmaids.

She will next be seen in comedies Struck By Lightning with Glee star Chris Colfer and Christina Hendricks, and Bachelorette with Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fischer.

Add to that parts in What To Expect When You're Expecting, Pitch Perfect, Small Apartments and Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Aussie comedienne Rebel Wilson is getting some help from high places, with two former executive producers of Friends joining the team behind her comedy pilot Super Fun Night for CBS in the US.

Website Deadline reported Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen have joined Wilson's staff as executive producers/showrunners and will probably stay on should the show be picked up as a series.

Written by and starring Wilson, Super Fun Night - from Warner Bros TV and Conan O'Brien's Conaco, follows three nerdy female friends on their quest to have "super fun" every Friday night.

Reich and Cohen join the show fresh from the dismal failure of their last effort; the short-lived, cross-dressing sitcom Work It.
