HOLLYWOOD pups Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson are making the most of their brief Sydney stopover, with the pair visiting the most quintessential sunny Sydney landmark - Bondi beach.
The pair, who are in town promoting their new flick Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, escaped the clutches of their omnipresent security detail long enough to pose up, with Hudgens in particular looking very happy to mug for the cameras in shades and a sun dress.
It's a decidedly new look for the actress who, for her last role in the gritty drama Gimme Shelter (pictured), shed the glamour image, cut her hair and piled on a few kilos for a serious "make under".
Hudgens plays a pregnant teenager in the film due out later this year.
"I didn't mind doing it at all, you know, it's what I do," Hudgens told Confidential.
"It was amazing. I love transforming myself into something completely different and I definitely dove into it."
