Elle Halliwell, The Daily Telegraph, reports
Hugh Jackman has revealed his sculpted body on
upcoming film The Wolverine was the result of three hours of training every
single day.
The Australian actor said he fit in two workout sessions a day to create
his character Logan’s muscular physique in the action flick which hits cinemas
later this year.
``I basically work out for three hours a day; two hours in the morning
and then wherever I can in the day I fit in another hour,’’ he told fans in a
live video chat yesterday [Friday].
The 44-year-old said his diet, which included supplements, low fat
protein and six small meals a day was crucial to his preparation.
`` I’ll be honest with you the most important thing about the training
is the eating,’’ he said.
``Seventy per cent of how you look is how you eat, and thirty per cent
is the training, so that’s the more vital thing.
The film, which was shot in Japan and stars Famke Janssen and Japanese
star Noburo Mori is set for release in Australia in July.
